Certified School Psychologist
Zachary Stern is a postdoctoral fellow who completed his Doctorate in Psychology at Widener University’s Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology. Zachary is a certified school psychologist and completed a concentration in child, adolescent, and family therapy. Zachary also completed his MBA in the area of healthcare management at Widener University’s School of Business Administration.
Zachary’s interests include psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and families, psychoeducational assessment, consultation with schools, and parent support and training. He has significant experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults with ADHD, ODD, anger issues, depression, anxiety, intellectual disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders. Additionally, Zachary has done substantial work with families experiencing major adjustments and challenges in their lives. Zachary’s approach is collaborative, informed by current research, and focused on creatively individualizing treatment to the strengths and needs of each child and family. Zachary utilizes evidence-based behavioral and cognitive behavioral therapy practices in his work, while placing an important emphasis on the environment and relevant systems involved.
