Overview

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist

Ashley Feinberg is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the State of Pennsylvania. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Speech Language Hearing sciences at La Salle University in Philadelphia. Ashley has been servicing students at Wallingford Swarthmore School District since 2008. In addition, Ashley has been providing outside speech and language therapy, through private practice, where she also consults with school districts to support families in developing IEPs.

Areas of expertise include language-learning disabilities in school aged children, autism spectrum disorders and social language deficits. Ashley regularly collaborates with classroom teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, psychologists and parents. She has completed the Clinical Assessment Training at Michelle Garcia Winner’s Social Thinking® clinic in San Jose, CA. Ashley provides individual and group therapy sessions using a combination of current methodologies and researched based materials.

In addition to providing a dynamic and individualized treatment approach, Ashley completes thorough evaluations both individually and in collaboration with other professionals. Evaluations include a comprehensive assessment of receptive and expressive language skills and/or a dynamic assessment of social skills using the Social Thinking® model.
