Dr. Lauren Perovich received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Widener University with a focus in school psychology and working with children and adolescents. Dr. Perovich’s interests include psychological and psychoeducational assessment, psychotherapy with children, families and adults, learning troubles and other disorders of childhood, school consultation, parenting support, and parent-child relationships. She has significant experience working to support children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with executive functioning disorders, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Dr. Perovich draws upon the most recent research and evidence based practices, utilizes a systemic and collaborative approach in her treatment, and places emphasis on a person’s individual strengths.
Before earning her doctorate, Dr. Perovich received her masters in Curriculum and Teaching at Teachers College, Columbia University where she focused on multicultural and inclusive education. She has also worked closely with the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project. Dr. Perovich has taught both general education and special education in New York City.
